New functions and features in RCSnews Version 3.0

White Plains, NY -- July 19, 2007– RCS released the latest version of RCSnews with improvements asked for by the news writers and directors of radio. RCSnews is now even easier for the professional news writer to stay on top of deadlines.

Highlight enhancements include:

• Create custom fields in the Story and Rundown libraries. This allows users to add the information important to their news operation into each library.
  
• Drag and drop columns into new positions. Now users can put the most important information is where they need it in the libraries and Wire List
  
• Fully integrated single track audio editor. This new feature eliminates the need for a costly 3rd party audio editor
  
• Full International language support. This gives the user the ability to read wires, create copy and media in any language making RCSnews truly an international product.
  
• Enhanced Spell Check. Allows you to check just highlighted selections of copy and choose from any loaded language dictionary
  Ingest RSS and FTP feeds. This will help those stations looking for added ingest of important wire copy.
  
• Access hyperlinks embedded in Wires of Stories in an internal browser. This will save the user from having to open a 3rd party browser to copy text into the story screen, making copywriting quicker and more efficient.
